Croeso   -  Welcome

About Tenby Junior Community School.

Our mission statement 2013-14

To be a learning community where values for life and individual rights are promoted through

caring, sharing and respect; where learners are supported and challenged to maximise their

potential through a range of positive experiences within a safe, healthy and happy

environment.

.

Tenby Junior Community School is located in the popular seaside town of Tenby in the County of Pembrokeshire.  The school is set in spacious, attractive grounds, within walking distance from the town and beaches. The school draws from a wide catchment area, but the majority of pupils live in and around Tenby town.

The school has developed a rich and exciting curriculum for all its pupils which has been   commented on during  Inspection. The high standards of teaching, learning and discipline within the  school are a credit to the commitment of both its staff and pupils. The  school operates  an 'open door' policy to all parents and visitors and regularly invites parents to class assemblies. This school  works closely with the Tenby Family of Schools, as well as building partnerships within the local community through parents, governors, local organisations and charities.
